Sam Morris Nursery

Sam Morris Nursery, Finsbury Park N4, London

About us

The Nursery is housed in a keynote building which was purpose built during 1994/95. It was built and is owned by a Board of Trustees and is a registered charity. It was named the Sam Morris Centre after a local businessman helped fund its completion. Its grass roof proclaims it's many environmentally conscious features.

The nursery takes up to 39 children from the age of 6 months - 5 years. It has separate areas for babies, 2-3's and 3-5's. French doors give direct access to covered balconies and the nursery's own secure garden.

We are open 8.00am - 6.00pm for 49 weeks a year to meet the needs of Parents/Carers who work or study.

The building looks over the park in Isledon Road N7 and Parkside Crescent is a quiet residential street. It is a short walk to Finsbury Park Tube and BR stations and from the campus of the University of North London.

Bus numbers 4, 29, 153, 253 and 279 stop beside Parkside Crescent.

Our overriding childcare philosophy is to provide a stimulating and safe environment for your child. We have a structured programme of activities each designed to allow your child to learn through fun, imagination and thoughtful guidance. Our staff are trained to bring out the best in your children and to help them develop as individuals. Your child will be able to progress at his/her own pace by learning through a variety of activities each designed for specific areas of child development.
